COVER MATERIALS:
There are 5 material types offered:
1. PVC Reinforced material – TRANSLUCENT only or combined with Solid colour PVC fabrics
The Translucent Reinforced PVC material is unique to our company offering beneficial properties such as:
- PVC Translucent – Reinforced / Waterproof
- Non-conductive / Flame Retardant BS7837:1996
- Privacy to the operator inside the tent. Fabric is more like a frosted window where there is no clear visibility
from outside
- Allows maximum natural light through into tent work area (not blinding white light associated with white solid fabric materials)
- Heavy duty plastic chain zip with double pullers for access inside and outside of the tent. Although Moulded tooth design appears stronger our tests and product experience in the field over the years proves this not to be the case. (Velcro option available)
- Light sources can be arranged outside the tent and shone through the fabric into the work area giving more free space within the work area.
- Easy to clean
THE SHEERSPEED TRANSLUCENT PVC MATERIAL IS THE ONLY TRULY TRANSLUCENT MATERIAL ALLOWING NATURAL LIGHT INTO THE TENT WORKING AREA. ALL OTHER PVC FABRICS WITH A WHITE SOLID WEAVE REINFORCEMENT FABRIC REDUCES THE AMOUNT OF NATURAL LIGHT AND AMPLIFIES FALSE WHITE LIGHT!

2). PVC Reinforced material – Solid colour Heavy-Duty PVC fabrics
We are the only manufacturer to produce fully translucent PVC tents using RF Welding processes giving the advantages of stronger joints that are fully water tight
Unique to Sheerspeed Translucent PVC roof design allows the maximum amount of natural light into tent working area - Heavy duty lower section (630gms) for greater resistance to Welding and Grinding operations

3). Lightweight PVC Reinforced material – Solid colours
Unique to Sheerspeed PVC Translucent roof design allowing maximum natural light into tent working area
- Specially developed Lightweight but strong PVC coated on BOTH sides of the material. (Other manufacturers only offer single side coated PVC materials to reduce weight leaving the other uncoated side to attract dirt and become more difficult to clean making the appearance of the tent shabby).
- PVC coated on BOTH sides of the material
- Easy to clean for good long term presentation
- Flame Retardant BS7837 : 1996
- All colours available

4). PU Coated HEAVY-DUTY 7oz Polyester/Nylon
Polyester/Nylon HEAVY-duty tent cover material (7oz) Double the grade of the market standard market which is usually only (4oz) for the same cost price.
- PU coating on the inside of the tent for easy internal cleaning
- Flame Retardant BS7837 : 1996
- All colours available

5) PU coated 4oz nylon/polyester - Solid colours
- Polyester/Nylon tent cover material (4oz) PU coating on the inside of the tent for easy internal cleaning
- Flame Retardant BS7837 : 1996
- Only available in White

|
Triangular Speedtents are available in the different material cover types offered as for the Square Speedtents described above.
Tent heights are usually lower than the standing height of the average person, this is because the applications for this type of tent are usually over a trench or the operator is seated whilst carrying out his work.
We can supply Triangular Speedtents at increased heights upon customer request. Both doors open on a Triangular Speedtent its width can be adjusted to suit different trench sizes.
