 Sheerspeed’s specially developed Blue, White or Black PVC cover material for the Police & Forensic tents is unique to our company, offering properties: · Lightweight and Strong
· PVC coated on both sides of the material for easy cleaning inside and out.

SHEERSPEED Product advantages:
· Sheerspeed, the only manufacturer to produce fully translucent PVC tents using RF Welding processes giving the advantages of stronger joints that are fully water tight.
· Easier to erect – Due to less flexing in the material and rods the erecting process is more direct and therefore quicker
· Rubber feeted with marine nitrile grade and reinforced – This gives tents a longer life preventing rods from wearing through bottom of tent and becoming inoperative
· Centre joint protection – Marine reinforced rubber disc specially designed where the rods pass through holes in the rubber disc. This ensures that the operator’s fingers do not get trapped in the joint mechanism. The design also totally covers the Die cast joint preventing the conductivity path.
· Reinforced Translucent PVC material
o Allows maximum natural light through into tent work area. No false blinding white light as experienced with white Nylon/Polyester material tents. Many claims are made of translucency where white solid woven polyester fabric materials are involved, these claims are entirely false.
o Flame Retardant to BS7837 – 1996 (The HSE work Industry Standard)
o Light source can be used from outside the tent and shone through the cover material to provide additional light; this reduces the amount of equipment placed inside the tent therefore giving more available work space
· PVC tents have a weight advantage over lighter fabric tents due to better stability and less prone to wind effects.
· Rear door design – This allows entrance and exit from tent when either placed against a wall or when tents are joined together
· Additional guy line points can be added in the top 4 corners internally or externally. Internal guy points allow for tent security to cabinets being covered by the tent.
Repair ability – replacement parts available for all framework parts and covers can be repaired. |

SUPERfume-TENT
The SUPERfume-TENT is a rapidly deployed enclosure for use with portable cyanoacrylate fuming system - SUPERfume. The tent has internal dimensions of 6m x 3m x 2m and is ideal for the fuming and subsequent examination of cars and small commercial vehicles.
The weatherproof tent can be erected on hard or soft ground and once the frame has been expanded and the roof is in place it can be lifted and moved into position, causing minimum disturbance to the crime scene. Once in position the side walls are attached to the frame and the fuming process can be initiated.
Efficient seals ensure that levels of humidity and cyanoacrylate vapour are maintained at effective levels. Should larger areas be required several frames can be linked together.

This product offers an Economic and cost effective solution. A separate frame and cover unit which breaks down to a best in class small storage size. The framework is constructed from surface hardened Aluminium poles, proven in both the Rail and Utilities industry over the last 15 years, and is both light and easy to handle. Fibreglass frame work is also available where Full Non-conductive units are required. Fibreglass tubing is a strong Spiral wound composite. This is complimented with a Translucent PVC reinforced cover that is quick and easy to locate to the frame with elasticated bungee attachments. The covers in standard format have 2off heavy-duty zipped entrances for quick and accurate door opening and closure. Standard features:

 Quick erect temporary portable screening for screening off areas from public viewing. Due to its modular design additional sections can be added at any time. The features that set Sheerspeed’s screening above the standard:
Rubber Feet fitted (unlike the market standard) top and bottom allowing the screen to be quickly erected any way up giving longer product life.
Centre joint protection – Complete cover of centre die cast Aluminium joint to prevent operator pinching fingers. Fibre rods pass through the Marine rubber disc giving total protection to fingers
Screening material - The screening material is a heavy duty reinforced PVC material coated on BOTH sides. Because it is PVC coated both sides screens can be put away wet ready for next time. Other fabrics which are PU coated or single sided PVC coated will suffer from mildew and discolouration
Flame Retardant and UV stabilised
Screening height is 2m giving better visual protection than the standard 1.8m which is more easily overlooked by press and members of the public.
Screening design The Sheerspeed design to achieve the 7.2m length is split into two sections. This greatly assists in the assembly process making it easier and quicker for the operator. A continuous 7.2m length is difficult to layout requiring more space to erect and keeping the screen upright as you pop up each joint is very difficult where often the screen keeps falling over.
Covered area The split screen allows the use of one of the sections to be used for covering areas or evidence on the ground when positioned as a ridge tent
Additional Screening sections can be added to increase the screen length. Available section sizes 3.6m x 2m or 1.8m x 2m
Our design allows for screens located at different locations to be joined together at an incident. Additional screens can be ordered at a later date to be added to an original order.
Hard standing kit provides support and unlimited adjustment in order to protect against the elements and adjust to the available space on location. Poles are securely attached to the screen by full length sleeves making their attachment a solid fix reducing any swaying.
(Fibre glass poles can be supplied to have a fully Non-conductive unit)
Screen attachment to Speedtents Screens can be attached to Speedtents to give additional privacy and controlled entrance into tents. (See picture of Red screening and tent below)

 The Canopy material is made from 'Blackout’ PVC which is a major advantage by preventing blinding white transmitting through in sunny conditions. The fabric is heat sealed, highly resistant to the abuses of weather and is mildew resistant. The 20' x 20' Marquee uses the newest design technologies for frame tension design with tension cables rather than tedious pipe and pin connections so it requires less fittings and poles, no buckles and installs in less time.
